Cheyyar Industrial Training Institute (Cheyyar ITI) is run by Sri Jayalakshmi Educational trust since 1985 lead by correspondent & chairman Mr.R.Loganathan,M.sc.,B.Ed., which is the biggest private ITI in Tiruvannamalai District and it is equivalent to Government ITI in land area , buildings, tools & equipment. It is functioning at No.69, Arni Road, Cheyyar with extend of 2.5 acres. The trust had dedicated itself to the cause of education to the socially and economically to backwards rural areas students. Cheyyar ITI is affiliated with NCVT and ministry of skill development, Government of India and providing following engineering trades.

- 2. MECHANIC MOTOR VEHICLE(MMV)
- 3.ELECTRICIAN
- 4.WIREMAN
Chayyar ITI have admitting capacity of 209 students every year in the above four trades. At present we have strength of 400 students in both I & II year and nearly 25 teaching staff and 5 non-teaching staff working in this institute. So far more than 1500 students successfully completed and passed out. All trainees are working in both Private and Government concern.
